Published by LaFloorGeneral guidance to prepare a discussion with an installer.
Prepare the basics
Provide the location, approximate area, number of rooms, floor level and lift access. Mention whether the property is occupied and your preferred dates.
Show the current condition
Take photos of the subfloor, thresholds, doors and areas needing repair. Have a floor plan or heating documentation ready if available.
Agree the scope
Specify whether you need removal, subfloor preparation, skirting or transition finishing. An initial estimate based on a description needs on-site verification.
General guidance does not replace the product’s instructions or an on-site subfloor assessment.
